Progress on ray tracing includes an excel spreedsheet that calculates the line endpoints for each ray entering and leaving each mirror. The spreadsheet data is then outputted in a format such that IDEAS can plot the lines and mirror surfaces. The current Excel spreedsheet has an error where it doesnt correctly calculate the mirror surface slopes, so some error is shown in the ray tracing. sample_drawing.ps

A ray tracing program has been purchased and is starting to be used.

Future progress will be on finishing the excel spreadsheet and to define a test setup for coatings.
