The SNAP Wide Area Survey physics paper
The
physics paper lays out our investigation of the
SNAP Wide Area Survey. Its contents are:
- Introduction to Dark Energy
- Wide Area Survey Design and Science Context
- Cluster Abundance Evolution
- Weak Lensing Measurement of the Matter Power Spectrum
- Other Science: galaxy clustering, nonlinear evolution,
galaxy evolution
- Fermilab Contributions:
- WAS reduction and analysis software
- Hardware: SS data recorder and manager, cosmic ray sheild.
- Science Support: photo-z, cluster finding, calibration
Our thinking may evolve, and the paper itself will as we move
it from the current aim at the PAC to making it a contribution
to the SNAP Collaboration.
